CosmoCool: Reasonable Doubt' 20th Anniversary Pop-Up Shop Hits NYC

Roc-A-Fella Records Co-founder Kareem "Biggs" Burke bought the 20th anniversary celebration of Jay-Z's classic debut album Reasonable Doubt to NYC with a pop-up shop in Soho (complete with actual replica build of classic 90's hip hop recording hotspot D&D Recording Studios)

Tonight's event served as a pop-up shop & art exhibition where Reasonable Doubt and Fourth of November merchandise was available along with new collaborations with luxury brands curated by one of our CosmoCool Faves Fancy.com. There was also a special collaboration with Japanese lifestyle specialist and editor of 411 Magazine, Akira Kōdate.

"We are privileged to celebrate Jay’s groundbreaking album, Reasonable Doubt, and recreate the legendary studio where he recorded it," said Joe Einhorn, CEO of Fancy.com
“We are hopeful that our partnership with Roc96 will give the proper platform for this important work of art. It is an honor to be in partnership with them."

the launch party for this amazing piece of history was of course, epic.
Awesome tunes Provided by legendary DJ/Producer and Jay-Z Collaborator DJ Premier.
lite bites by Mama Sushi, cupcakes by Tonnie's Minis, and curated cocktails by D'USSÉ.
We loved taking a close up look at some really cool collaborations and did I say good food?

Burke & Roc96 did something similar to the NYC Reasonable Doubt exhibit earlier this year,
when he opened a pop up shop in Los Angeles that replicated Jay Z’s old Brooklyn apartment.

Jay-Z/Roc-A-Fella  Fans who want to be a part of this historic experience
Tickets to the pop-up shop (open 10/20 to 10/23) are available for $50 and $100,
and come with a shopping credit equal to the amount the ticket was purchased for.
(how awesome is that?)
