Earlier today, MMG's big boss Rick Ross held a press conference here in NYC with Diddy, Swizz Beatz, and Lyor Cohen in attendance where he made a few huge MMG announcements.
First, news of MMG's second compilation Self Made, Vol. 2 which is set to release June 26 featuring the single “Bag of Money.”
After that, the boss drops his 5th album God Forgives, I Don’t on July 31.
one of the announcements a great deal of listeners was waiting on was a date for MMG general Meek Mill who drops his MMG debut Dreams & Nightmares on August 28. with a new mixtape Dreamchasers 2 releasing on May 7.
Also during the conference, Diddy (who quietly manages Rick Ross) stepped up to the mic to thank Rick for helping him take Ciroc to the next level. Diddy added, “This is all designed, this is all planned out.”
And then the news that set twitter on FIRE, Rick announced that he has signed ex-B2k frontman Omarion to Maybach Music Group.
“Today I become a made man. Omarion aka Maybach O.,” said the former B2K singer. His first single “Let’s Talk” features Rick and samples Notorious B.I.G. and Salt-n-Pepa.
how important this move is is still up for debate, I mean, we were super excited that MMG signed gorgeous songstress Teedra Moses this time last year... go Omarion!!! cant wait to hear it!
